He is one of the easiest characters to use. He has attacks that can hit far and near, but he doesn't have a catergory that he is powerful at. So find ur enemy's weakness and go after that. He is really strong fighter from the side because many of his moves are for attacking left or right. Go for smah attacks when near, and fireballs wen far. His advantages are that he is easy to use and get hang of. And his disadvantages include not having enough up down moves.
Movements And Strategy
B= Fireball. Does 6% damage. Even though the fireball it self is strong, it travels really slow and easy to dodge. If they are advanced, they can easily dodge them. So use it to make them shield or jump, the go for a grab.
B+control stick= Mario cape. does 8~10% damage. It can deflect not only flying projectiles but flip opponents too. like if captain falcon's using the falcon punch, you can use the cape to make him puch the opposite direction and you can easiley nail a smash attack while that happens. Use it to ur advantage!
B+Up= super jump punch. Does 14%damage. I don't really like this attack. Use it to hit opponents on top of you.... but you can just use the smash attack and the A+Up thing for that.... I don't recomend using it too much. Use it to get back on the field.
B+Down= mario tornado. does 10%damage. if u hit the end part ur enemy will fly side ways. experiment and you will see the effects.
Smash Attacks and more
Before Anything, i'll tell u great way to get back to the stage. B+Over-> jump->B+Over->B+Up. Also his smash attacks are great. try to name his side smash attack. from the farthest part to inflict the most damage. The smash head butt (smash up) is great to hit them up.double kick (smash down) is pretty good as well. Also use the middle lick for great combos. Also the air attack over is a metor attack and do a lot of damage too.
Combos
A+over->a 3 times-> grab->throw down->up a->smash attack up->smash attack
Start with the middle kick (a+over) then tap a 3 times, grab them in the air, throw them down then a up a. While the enemy comes down smash attack up and when he comes back down give him a fully powered smash attack!
